What is the eligibility criteria for Bank jobs?
A. Bank PO:
a. Candidate must be of Indian nationality
b. Candidate must be a graduate from a recognized university with minimum marks as specified by the bank (generally in the range of 55-60%). Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates
c. Candidate must be above 21 years and less than 30 years of age
B. Bank Clerk:
a. Candidate must be of Indian nationality.
b. Candidate must have passed in 10+2 with 60% [SC/ST/PWD candidates – 55%] or a pass in graduation from a recognized University/Institution
c. Candidate must be above 18 years and less than 28 years of age
Are Banking jobs only for people with/from a Commerce background?
It is a wrong notion that Banking jobs are only for people with/from a Commerce background. Banks welcome all those who are competent enough in academics and who can prove their worth.
